We’re here to help recruit, retain, graduate minority students

The University System of Georgia established the Minority Advising Program in 1983 to enhance the academic welfare of minority students at all state colleges and universities, including CSU. Its goals include the promotion of academic success, development of human potential and the creation of an environment that fosters the success and retention of minority students.

At CSU, MAP specifically includes:

  • Academic advising
  • Cultural and social activities
  • Financial aid information for minority students
  • Mentoring
  • Regents' Test preparation
  • Seminars and workshops
  • Student advocacy
  • Tutoring

For more information about any of these services, call Bernard McCrary at 706-568-2273.
